WHEELERSBURG, OH-While the 2012 racing season is complete at the Southern Ohio Speedway, there will still be one more on-track event held before the winter. For the second season in a row, the Southern Ohio Speedway will close out the season’s events by hosting a “Fall Playday Test N’ Tune.”
On Saturday, October 13th the track will host the “Fall Playday Test N’ Tune.” The track will be open from noon until dusk for open practice. The cost is $25 per race car. Admission is free and spectators are welcome. All classes of race cars are welcome to bring their cars out. Full track prep will be provided.
“We’ve had several drivers contact us wanting to do some testing for the upcoming DTWC at Portsmouth Raceway Park, so we decided to open the track up for one last practice day”, stated H&L Motorsports co-owner T. J. Layne. “This will be a great opportunity for race teams to get to test for that event and also a great opportunity for race teams who may want to get some track time before the long offseason.”
Last season, SOS hosted a “Fall Playday Test N’ Tune” on Saturday November 4th. Even though the event that year was announced only 4 days prior, 20 race cars were still in attendance. For more information visit www.southernohiospeedway.com.
