Weather wins April 10th; Opening Night now April 17th

WHEELERSBURG, OH-Unfortunately for the second week in a row, weather was the only winner at the Southern Ohio Speedway.

Following heavy rains Thursday night and Friday morning, track officials were still determined to get the Opening Night races in. The grounds in many places dried well, but because of how much rain we had, water was still running from out of the hillside and seeping up on the track in about 12 places from turn four to the flagstand. The same running water issue also made the track entrance and exits completely inaccessible. This forced SOS officials with no other decision but to cancel the races.

Premier Physical & Occupational Therapy Opening Night has been rescheduled to next Friday, April 17th.
