What can I expect to see when attending a race at Southern Ohio Speedway?
Southern Ohio Speedway is a 4/10ths mile dirt oval track that offers professional dirt track racing each week. Anywhere from $12,000-$22,000 in purse money will be on the line per event.

Dirt track racing is considered by many to be the most exciting form of motorsports around. SOS races fours of cars on a weekly basis. Those are Late Models, Modifieds, Sport Mods, and then a mix of Steel Block Late Models, Hobby Stocks, and Enduros for the fourth class.  Late Models reach speeds of over 100 mph and have up to 900 horsepower. Unlike NASCAR, you won’t just be seeing one long race. You will see a series of heat races and then the main event feature races for each class.

You will see the most exciting sporting event in southern Ohio when you attend a race at the Southern Ohio Spedway.  You will catch all of the thrills and spills of high speed, three wide racing action. You will also feel the thunder of thousands of horsepower on the track. No other sporting event in the tri-state compares to the thrills of attending a race at Southern Ohio Speedway.
